Tijani Belaid seems to have a low profile on this board at the moment, mainly as he has only had a few minutes on the pitch. However, I think he could be a major influence on the team once fit & settled in over the next few weeks. This guy has massive potential at this level... - Great pedigree with Milan, PSV & Sparta Prague - Champions League experience - Established goalscoring international with Tunisia. Again selected for his National squad next week. He knows were the goal is from Midfield & looks like he has a good engine on the TV clips. A young, hungry footballer who wants to make it in this Country Hopefully a chance to shine with Harper out over next couple of games & will do the business so we take up his two year contract option. Would you play him at the weekend?
I'd have him coming on for the last 20-30 minutes depending on how the game's going. I hope that the central midfield pairing will be Koren and Evans with McLean and Devitt on the wings. My front pairing would be Fryatt and Stewart.
I've mentioned in another post that I would like to see Mclean & Stewart swap positions now and again during games.
He looks a live wire on the youtube clips and hope that he will feature and live upto thiose expectations. I'm sure it was lack of match fitness but seemed to have absolutely no pace at all on saturday...
I'd go with Koren first up, but Belaid has the pedigree to do the job. To think we could have a player like this for nothing is staggering to be honest, the management team are working wonders at the moment.
Can you tell me which team he played in the Champions' league for and then point that team out in your above post? Ta
Tunisia I could get a game with Tunisia and I'm a fat 44 year old with a big 12" cock dragging me down .
He played for Slavia Prague in the Champions League. He scored the winner in their group game against Steaua Bucharest(They won 2-1). I'm not sure if this was his only performance, or just the only game he scored in.
