    I was sat right in line with that, you could see as soon as he hit it it was destined for the net.

    Time seemed to go so slow from the shot to the roar as the net bulged.

    Took the skin of my shins jumping up and down like a loon

    That's right mate. I was right behind it in the North Stand and knew it was going in from the minute the ball left his boot. Went in like a f*ckin exocet. Such a shame he got that bad injury so early in the season. Wasn't the same player after that.

    Saw Carlos play a few weeks ago. He didn't hit one like that but it was nice to seem him play again.

    crabbers was class mind, his commentary after we beat the mags has gone down in safc folklore i think.

    really miss long range goals like that mind, i think we have lads capable of taking them on now.
