Bexley Boy is never posting on this forum, last night’s borderline racist post being a good example why.
One fairly tedious ITTV thread is more than enough. * people want to read about FOOTBALL and CHARLTON *
Ah, so that's who this thread was about. BB (who has not been banned from ITTV). I understand he recently posted a message saying he had heard the "real reason" Conor Gallagher had been recalled by Chelsea. I won't repeat it here, but it amounted to an allegation of racism. Such allegations are extremely serious, and should never be made lightly, or without evidence to back them up. I'm not going to pursue this on ITTV, but I will begin a little investigation of my own soon and post my findings here. Naturally I will not post anything actionable. The obvious first step will be to take a look at all the other Clubs that Chelsea currently have players out on loan with. The result of that will reveal whether any further questions need to be asked - whether there is any possibility of truth in what BB posted. This may take a little while. I may have something to offer by next week.
Regarding BexleyBoy. It’s amusing being a WUM, but sometimes his basic lack of intelligence leads him into areas where he should not stray. That WUM post was fairly offensive. Think about it logically - the Chelsea ownership won’t deal with Arabs. But our owner is Syrian, and Chelsea’s owner is Russian. Remind me who the Syrians biggest and most powerful backer are ....the Russians.
I don't think Syria do much business with the Israeli-Russians. All of Abramovich's personal body guards are ex Israeli army.
Football and politics. They never, EVER mix. Ireland, Scotland, Turkey, Syria, Israel, Russia. Enough division to ruin countless lives. Sport, and the spirit of sportsmanship (sportspersonship, whatever) was supposed to help to heal such divisions. We don't need bigotry in football. Racism among billionaires is as unacceptable as it is on the terraces. But I still like to see evidence of it, rather than just believe - by default - that it is rampant everywhere.
