Good player and RIP, but overrated and because he played for ( at the time) media darlings Leeds, deprived Cyril Knowles of more caps.
I take it that Sports Interactive are removing the "model professional" trait from Harry Kane in time for FM22?
Just makes me angry. Social media is constantly pushing misinformation and it's getting people killed.
He PM'd before I had to remove him from the site. I knew enough of his basic personal details, to clarify identity, also from past private convo's with him.
OK. Cheers. I think its very sad, I used to like him in the old days. Started many a good thread & was quite funny. RIP.
No prob mate. I miss the guy and agree it's very sad. I would just say to anyone, please get the jab.
Social media goes beyond pushing misinformation to promote defiant ignorance. The phrase double down on dumb comes to mind. Nothing seems to be less popular at the moment than to say I'm not really very knowledgeable, and should learn more before doing anything. For example, as far as I can tell, no media figure ever suggested that a working understanding of military history should be a prerequisite to making a decision to invade a country like Afghanistan--or even that isn't a good enough casus belli for anyone. So now it's twenty years later, a lot of people died for nothing, and no one seems to have learned a thing. The truth that we each know very close to absolutely nothing, and have an infinite number of things to learn, has been displaced by the idiocy that we know everything we need to know, and anyone who says differently is part of an evil conspiracy we need to resist. To me, it's one of the signs of a Norteamericano culture that has gone senile.
Dan Woottoonn and Neil Oliver aren't pushing misinformation on social media, they're consistently pushing it on traditional media
28,000 year old lion cub found in Siberia - perfectly preserved with all its fur intact. Mind boggling.
Yep. Unfortunately, it's definitely him. One of my mates has got the opposite problem. He's got various health problems and is double vaccinated...but his 2 daughters (in their 20's) won't have the jab...even though it significantly raises his risk of catching Covid, with all that entails. Madness...as he employs both of them and is considering having to let them go. Last night, Mrs B went to visit a friend, who a year after catching the virus, can't work and is now registered disabled, being only 52 and having had very few previous health problems.
