The good news is that my parents have gone on a cruise to Portugal The bad news is that it's around Oporto, so it's less convenient for them to try and "convince" Bruno Fernandes to come to Spurs
So I went to Microsoft Suppport to try and remedy the issues my computer has been having since last August Their agents did such a good job they bricked the ****ing thing
Has anyone been on and used wish.com/ wish app before? I'd seen a few celebs promoting it (including Neymar) so thought I'd see if it was like an amazon/ eBay type site, turns out it's basically a counterfeit selling goods haven! Stone Island jumpers for £12, Balmain hoodies/ sweaters for £17, Nike/ Adidas trainers going for sub £10. I'm tempted to buy my cousin something, he's a real fashion geek and see if he can actually spot that they're fakes, if he can't, I may just become his favourite cousin if he thinks I'm buying him £100s worth of gear!
It could just be me of course, as I am not a large sample of the car driving public. However my completely unscientific assessment of the situation is that there are more roadworks than ever before, and I get stuck in temporary traffic lights quite a lot. I say this as one I go through on my way to/from work is into it's 9th or 10th week, plus every viable alternate route also has works. In fact the main one has been going on so long as they've moved along a road, another company has come and set up some new works in an area finished by the first company a few weeks ago, giving two sets of temporary lights within about 800 metres. My main points are wondering if anyone else thinks they are getting out of control. I also wonder about the problems these lights caused. I worked out that if I'd been stuck at the lights I mentioned for 2 minutes each time (normally it's far longer) then I've been waiting at lights associated with these same works for at least three hours. It seems to me that if you can calculate the economic benefits as something as abstract as HS2 that hasn't even been built, then has anyone worked out how much temporary works cost the economy? Perhaps more importantly I wonder if temporary lights have stopped anyone getting to hospital in time to save their life?
My tyres (tires!) are nice and shiny without much tread on my17 year old Dodge Dakota extended cab. Thanks for the wake up call!
Have you looked at reviews: For example: Shopping on Wish is risky. ... Wish is as legit as Amazon and eBay. The company is real and there are real people selling products on the site. But since the sellers on Wish are located all over the world (but mostly in China), shipping takes longer, and product quality is lower
Yeah I've noticed the Chinese sellers. I also looked on YouTube of someone showing clothes they've bought, must admit some of them looked pretty decent quality although I'm not particularly knowledgable on fashion so my judgement isn't too great, the only expensive clothes I generally buy are trainers, the rest I usually get from Burton. I'm tempted to buy something just for a giggle, see if my cousin is able to spot that it's a fake or not.
We lost Chas Hodges one year ago today, I'm going to remember the great man with a pint and Ain't no pleasing you sang at Mrs Conn RIP to a true Spurs legend
Gercha! RIP Chas. I still reckon one of the bars at the New WHL should be named 'The Chas Hodges bar'.
