I never tire of watching this. This was my childhood & youth. Lovely to hear 'Glory Glory' at the end too the way we used to sing it. I bet Smithy enjoys it too, when you think we would have been at all those matches! I have seen this a couple of times Spurf but it's always the same quality. Looks like most games were played in fog (mind you, a lot were in those days)! Poor quality or not it is still a record of the greatest team to grace the Lane.....COYS
Sounds about right: disallow goals that happened decades ago as a means to even out the amount of blind eyes turned at Anfield...

Arthur Rowe, you bugger. You put tears in my eyes too! Come on Spurs! Put some more GOOD tears in my eyes again!!!!
Complaints about lack of diversity in the Oscar nominations. I don't know enough about the film's to comment, but I hope that thishas been raised because people have been overlooked unfairly and should have been nominated on merit rather than there not being some form of quota system.
Either could be an issue. Good performances being overlooked is one thing, but no good parts is another entirely. I'm in the same position as you on films, though. Not seen a lot of new ones recently, so I'm in no position to comment.
Of course, the BBC's coverage boiled down to "Isn't it marvelous to see some Brits being nominated? Don't forget to sing God Save The Queen on Oscar night while your toddler has to sleep in the corridor of A&E for eight hours"
I remember a couple of stories from 1954. An article in Football Monthly by Bill Nick."I'm keeping a place warm!" For Danny, eventually. Arthur Rowe after watching Danny's debut at Man City. 0-0. "It's the first time I've enjoyed a game for a long time!"
