I should imagine that, with the game being on TV, the club will do all they can to get the game on. I'd be more concerned if it was at non-league level, but St Andrews has undersoil heating so all should be okay.
2-1 Saints win, just feels right. Lambert and Sharp to score on his debut. Davis Richardson, Martin, Fonte, Fox Falque, Cork, Schneiderlin, Lallana Lambert, Sharp Bart, Harding, Hammond, Chaplow, Lee Its unlikely that Chaplow will immediately pick up where he left off, so I think bench at best until he regains match fitness. Give Punch a well-deserved break. Falque can do a really good job I reckon.
For the first time this season, Southampton are not favourites to win on Saturday, What do they know: after all we've been favourites all season and we haven't won every game.
Is Zigic fit for Birmingham? He went off injured after his fourth goal on Tuesday. Would be good if he misses out!
Has a knee injury but Brum hopeful he will play according to OS, but could be playing close to their chest like Nige does.
Before we get too despondent, remember we have 2 top scorers Lambert and Sharp. Agree would rather not face Zigic's height.
Feeling confident about this one, no walk in the park, but we do look to be chomping at the bit. I'm sure Sharpe will start, so that will be an exciting bonus. uts
Spot on - every team in this league is capable of getting a result (Ipswich v WHU!) . Ok, Brum have been on a run, and we have been on a `dip` (dip ? - but we`re still in the autos !) - time for their dip, and ours to be over. Momentum heading back our way, new signings and key players back (Chappers I hope). Come on you Sinners !
Not confident about this at all and think we'll fall to a defeat. Also think this will be our last in a while and we're going to go on another fantastic run!
Looking at Brums run and our away form a point would probably be a good result. However, less pressure, fresh starters and a couple of Birmingham players leaving at the end of the window may make this interesting, I hope so.
I gotta be honest, I think you guys will win. I know the score line against leeds looked like a convincing brum win but it wasn't. We dominated that game for 60mins and shoulda scored about 5 in the first 20mins (but our strikers can't finish). We just couldn't deal with the big ****er.
Ipswich v Leicester last season should have been postponed under maybe 2 inches of snow but they played on! Was hilarious to watch
Think your right, we will win. Brum are dogged if nothing else but not a particularly good footballing team. If Saints can get control of the football as NA would say, we will win and inflict their 1st home defeat of the season.
So when do they stop the match...when Connolly disappears or do they wait until only Zigic is visible?
Just watched Lallana interview on player, said he's over his dip, feeling good. He's up for it, and certainly looked good the other night, lets hope he's instrumental!
As long as he doesn't blow his own trumpet, or fiddle around, or harp on about referees, he could well be instrumental.
