Any news on this?
I'm at the game, looked a nothing challenge, if you can even call it a challenge! Could hear him yelp and call for the physio straight away! Doesn't look good!
Tycochswan- Reading about it on planet swans, some are saying its his Knee again, have you heard anything down there ?? the fact it seemed a nothing challenge maybe means its bad news .
off after 2 mins! gutted!
Gutted to finally say this as a) I am a massive Bodde fan b) an eternal optimist and c) the whole discussion is likely to open up a massive can of worms, but surely this is it now?!?
Doesnt give much info TBH.
It really seemed to be the knee! And I think his reaction said alot, gut feeling is that is the last time we will see him in a swans shirt!
Nothing challege, stretcher called for but not used he was then carried off , he did try to stand unaided but appeared not to be able to put any weight on it.Pitch looked heavy tonight and cut up quite badly.Gutted for the guy.
I got a horrible whole body deflated feeling when I heard this in work earlier, and I can't imagine what it must be like for Ferrie. If it's his knee you'd have to imagine that's that.
Such a shame but no surprise. I've thought for a while Bodde was finished and this seems to confirm it. Im sure we all wish him the best though
Gutted isnt the word. I pray its not his knee again, but I think im just well, erm praying. Which doesnt give me much hope! :-(
If it wasn't for bad luck , Bodde would have no luck at all . If it is the knee , it's retirement
Lets just see what the scans say but to be honest it doesnt look good , gutted for him as much as anything
I know the feeling you mean Scott I just had that when I saw the article on the BBC. If it is serious as it appears then I fear this is the end of the road for Bodde's playing career. If so do you think he could work as coach with us? A player of his ability might be able to bring some great tips and knowlege to the players.
Really gutted though!
My mate who was at the game with me just text me saying "rumour has it that it's his other knee!".
I ve heard its his other knee too, i dont think it makes a difference now TBH, if its another serious injury then its game over for him i reckon, as stated in other threads the amount of time out of the game brings its own problemsin getting back to the same level and other injuries are a part of that.
We dont yet know what the injury is but its 3 and half years and counting for bodde, time for a reality check for fans and the player im afraid
Maybe its not as serious, maybe its Ferrie being over cautious ,maybe the news will be good....time will tell
That's a bit more promising , feeling a bit better .
Hopefully it will just be a strain of some kind.
Fingers crossed then
