I haven't changed my opinion on why I voted the way I did, if that is what you were asking, purely from the basis of not agreeing with the formation of a one Federal State. I know we are one as such in the UK, but look at the problems that has brought over the decades, ie NI especially, become a Republic and it removes so many obstacles. Then more recent times with Scottish Independence (good luck to them). Which leads me to say in negotiations, our circumstances I feel have often subtly been used against us with border issues, which now causes us to push back on agreements and the idea of a border in the Irish sea, needs must I see it as. I personally don't see the need for trade borders that cause friction, it worked fine (I think) under the Common Market. That shouldn't mean we can't become seperate from the EU as a Federal state, it also does not mean I want to deny my origin within Europe (continent) holder of a British Passport or whatever other stuff is made up, because I choose to think differently.

 

Liz Truss is the Foreign Secretary. I know we gave up being a serious country a while ago but still.. Liz Truss.
