Will this game still go ahead ? Plymouth is in Tier 2, whereas the Valley is sadly in Tier 4. I have read elsewhere that the justification for allowing the game to go ahead - behind closed doors again - is that professional footballers are amongst the most regularly tested and monitored groups in the country. The only fly the in the Boxing Day custard could be if the new London - based super strain of Covid afflicts the staff at CAFC.
It's anybody's guess if this will go ahead. I don't care how often players are tested. Tier 2 folk should not be travelling into a Tier 4 area. The rules should apply to everybody or people won't bother about them. OK, a few critical health workers etc. should be exempt. They should have been vaccinated by now anyway. Footballers are not essential workers.
I bit off subject but why are Churches in tier 4 still being allowed to open. If God is everywhere you don't need to go to Church.
My Mum is a strong believer and she is sane. What I don't understand is she won't come to us at Christmas but she will sit in a church with strangers. Perhaps she isn't sane after all.
My Mum doesn't believe that but she doesn't feel right unless she goes to Mass. I have even downloaded religious services on her I phone, but she says it isn't the same.
I'd love to see us attack from the start, and get in abahrt them, instead of being patient. Hopefully the last game of the Bogle/Aneke situation, which is a relief. SAndgaard wants to see attacking football and so do we.
I think that fans would be a lot more forgiving if we didn't sit back on a lead and carried on taking the game to the opposition. Win lose or draw.
Nice to see F&E projects sponsoring the match. Curbs predicted in his interview that sponsors who abandoned us in the Douchatelet/ESI era would start coming back now.
