Tomorrow on the 11th May 1985, 56 people lost their lives and approximately 265 were injured when a horrific fire broke out in the stands of Bradford City during a celebration football match. On the 35th anniverary of this tragedy, please find the time in your busy lives to remember them.

That for me is one of my lifes ‘remember where you were’ moments.
I was at my Nans when the reports came over the news and still remember the horrific pictures on TV of fans and police literally on fire and dying in front of our eyes.
Truly appalling and should never be forgotten by all fans of all clubs.

My eldest brother was a ball boy at that game and he still talks about it to this day. I was (until the virus hit) doing a few hours coaching and scouting for them, having played for them as a kid, I hold a certain affection for the club. Terrible
