do you remember when mighty Leeds relegated you? No? Do you want us to remind you? Never forget adopting a tame tractorboy is for life not just a close season!
38,000 cram into Elland Road to watch Leedssend Paul Scally's Gillingham down as he eats his words from earlier in the season. Just for my m8 brb.
Brb will always pop up to remind us as it was the biggest game of his life, plus he has a reminder every home game,as the scaffolding they nicked off a building site in Leeds they built a stand with it.
Remember how we defeated Europe's finest in this season... Mark Stimson; After half an hour we were 3-0 up and standing on the sidelines you can't really believe that.
No m8 thats exactly how I remember your relagation on goal difference.Hope that 4 goal drubbing at Leeds didn't have any effect on your goal difference. southerners thinking the season ends in April, fools
Whilst I have to concede that Leeds are a massive club and have done really well over the years, why are the exploits of a rugby club relevant on a football forum.
football forum.? Brb led me to believe this to be a caravan dwellers site,no football teams around Gillingham is there,if there is why do all the locals get the bus to Charlton ?
lifecheshirewhite Thank you ever so much for your valued attention - we are not worthy. Now, forgive me if I'm wrong - but I thought that a football season consisted of more than one game (38 or 46 etc) One game against one team didn't relegate us - it was the culmination of the results in ALL the games that meant we were relegated. ( You'll be familiar with that term as it has affected your team in 'recent' times.) We deserved our relegation - partly because of the tactics of our manager - and the fact that we couldn't score a goal in our last 4 away league games which were all lost. Even just one goal in those defeats would have saved us from relegation - OR- PERHAPS LEEDS DID RELEGATE US !!! perhaps when were were 3-0 up against your lot we relaxed too much - you certainly got 'lucky' to actually score a couple whilst we had our minds on not humiliating you by scoring at will - which was EXACTLY what it was like in those first 30 minutes. Like I said - thanks for your attention - it must be a right nuisance for you whilst you pursue Champions League glory.
Yer got to agree with you,we did send you down twice.Don't worry about my attention,I do enjoy a visit to brb,its like volunteer charity work I view it as a civic duty to spend some time with the less well off in our society.
I might owe you an apology! having just googled Leeds, it appears they did used to have a football team many years ago but it fell on hard times and failed to recover.
That's ok m8,I just googled football in Gillingham, and it said London overflow where the Charlton buses set off from.
Leeds really need to let this go, love him or hate him at least scally had the balls to admit he voted in favour of the points deduction unlike the rest who hid behind anonymity. Oh and by the way Leeds weren't the only club ever to have a points deduction the whole world is not actually against you, Leeds are a big club but playing against you several seasons on the spin it became just another game rather than a big game
Just like the good ole days on BBC606 - Millwall due to visit next season and Leed fans come and find us Although Cheese i am a bit disappointed what happened to the old boy OLOF....it's not a proper party without the whole team arrival....thought Leeds fans would know that Anyways i'm happy with my little pub team, at least we have won a trophy in recent years, exactly when was Leeds last big silverware ps. anyone one note the major made an appearance the other day...we must be in for a good season LOL, oh and it's about time Showoff opened a new Taverna
