Just under 2 weeks to go now until the big kick off against Aston Vanilla. As always we have a predictions league - currently held by Hackneyhornet. The rules and scoring system is set out below for anyone new to this. Basically if you tip correctly you get points and if not you don't.

You get 10 points automatically for remembering to tip.

For the matches which you tip we'll take eg. Liverpool v Man City as an example. If the final result is 3-1 to Liverpool then the following tips would bring the following points:

1-0 (right result wrong scoreline and score difference) = 3 points.
2-0 (right result right score difference) = 8 points
3-1 (spot on scoreline) = 25 points.
3-1 (if you are the only one to tip this correctly then 10 points bonus) = 35 points
Anyone tipping anything other than a home win here gets nothing.

In the event of correctly tipped away wins you get 5 points for the correct result (bonuses for right score difference are the same ie. 5)
A correctly tipped draw = 9 points (eg. 0-0 against 1-1 - this contains the score difference bonus automatically).

You have a joker which can be played on any one of the 10 weekly matches apart from the Watford match - anything you score on this will be doubled as if it were a match from the Horns which is doubled anyway.

Copying of other posters tips is not allowed - though this never happens with us cos we're all honest. It's also not allowed to use online tipping programmes. Tips for matches should be in before they actually kick off. I will be avoiding friday night games so as not to disadvantage late tippers (unless the hornets are playing in them). The same goes for monday night games as I want to keep it as a weekend thing, and don't want to be posting league tables late on a monday night. So in these cases matches will be used from other divisions - Championship, SPL, Serie A, Bundesliga etc. etc. to make up the full round of 10 fixtures.

Fixtures will appear on this thread in the next post (currently on location in Hamburg so I'll wait till i get back home in a few days). If anyone is still confused by the scoring system just tip matches and let me do the work !​
