I would have quite s good score if my Hornets predictions were based on what I thought would happen , rather than what I hoped would happen.

    Brian's Predictions League 2021/22

    League Table

A great weekend for the Horns and an explosive round on here, with some extremely high scores around which breaks the low scoring sequence we have been having. No less than 8 scores over the hundred mark this week. Highest of the round were by theghost with 173 and second highest was by Chris with 171 - this moves him up to second. High scores also by JT Bodbo with 139 and Brian (Simon) with 128. The gap at the top to NZHorn has narrowed a bit but it's still formidable. Apologies to Mark who actually topped the hundred yet slipped a place in the table - it was just one of those weeks. It is the FA Cup Quarter final stage next weekend but there will also be a round of matches to tip here - only 3 of them Premiership matches but some interesting ones nonetheless.

How is it that Arsenal won, yet it was a bad week for our three Arsenal fans? :emoticon-0110-tongu

Of course I will not be letting Mrs Andy know about this post. :bandit:

It’s been an absolute dream for football this week in our house ,not only did my lads team win 6-1 in an important cup game ,we went to our first away trip together and our first game since dad passed away we certainly had our 12th man today …I also pipped us at 2-1

    hope your all well x

Dream week for us too. My grandson was 10 yesterday and scored for his team, in a 9-1 win. Only the second of the season.

    League Table

As I indicated earlier on a weekend where the Horns were not in action the double points rule shifted to the Udinese game. Because Lawro only had 4 Premiership games left to tip, whereas we had alternative fixtures I have used his FA cup tips on here so as not to disadvantage him too much. I waited dutifully for events to unfold at the Rheinenergiestadion just down the road but it was all in vain because nobody picked up any points on the Cologne draw. Reason being that everyone tipped on BVB to win apart from myself who tipped on Cologne out of duty. Top scorer of the day was theghost who is on something of a run with 102 points, second highest was myself with 92 and then Matej with 88. No real changes at the top. There now follows a two week break for the internationals next weekend.

Some quite good scoring around this week despite the Horns losing. Highest of the round was by Mark with 122, which moves him up to 6th. Second highest was by Frenchie with 102 and there were several good scores in the 90s and 80s. The first 3 places remain the same but it all looks very congested from 4th to about 10th as we start to get closer to the closing straight.

Brrrrrrr - someone’s turned that storage unit off again……<ghost><ghost>

    Notes

    1. This almost certainly won’t age well.
    2. I’m ‘celebrating’ being 18th rather than 19th….out of 20.

    Brian's Predictions League 2021/22

    League Table

A very low scoring week for us on here. Between us we managed to get 4 of the matches spot on - both being the games at Leicester, Man City and the Met Police. Unbelievably the 4th was Spurs 4-0 win at Villa which was picked by a Gunner <doh> Charlie and myself were spot on in Taunton's 2-1 win at the boys in blue (and they do actually wear blue). The sad news is that him from the BBC got the highest score of the round albeit it being a modest 83 - this was due to me always playing his joker on the Liverpool match. I have to give him a joker to keep it fair but do not know where he would place it and so I always put it on Liverpool because of him being an ex player for them. Chris is whittling away NZ's lead a little at the top as we come into the closing stages.

My challenge is to keep above London Kev :emoticon-0140-rofl:
