    That tin pot cup again.

    Bristol C...0-1...Plymouth A...H/T

Songo'o 27mins....a cross from Carey headed in from close range....that's better than last year.

Much better it seems, particularly in defence.

I'm just stunned. Didn't really follow this on anything tonight as I find it hard to get interested in Argyle's cup exploits. Mainly because they are often non-existent. Second round of a cup competition........................whatever next.

Thank you wizered. You must be fed up with beating us anyway. Laws of averages says we had to win one eventually.

It seemed that Wootton and Canavan jelled well together tonight....Wootton it is said looked far more comfortable with Canavan beside him than Edwards.

Not been back long and a very short report - it has been a rather busy week one way or the other(!). Apart from the first 20 mins I thought we bossed large parts of the game. Songo'o was on fire and easily my MOTM. To be fair everyone did well and looked like a proper team. Nervous last few minutes as expected. I would start the same 11 on Saturday, but what do I know. Ashton Gate was at it's usual brilliance- the staff really are excellent. BCFC had a reasonably strong team out which made it all the better. Frog's legs in the Boardroom (along with a selection of other rather nice tapas). So surprised to win I didn't even know what the prize money was (turns out to be nothing at this stage). Next round in 2 weeks.

Just been looking through the GoS photos...an impressive ground that's for sure.

PS.....I notice that Rovers also played at home last night....how far away is their ground then ?

Just when you think we might have run out of Adams inspired energy, we get one of those snarling, red-eyed, mad-dog performances away from home that have been our hallmark.

    Same side on Saturday?
