Great 3 points, manager in recovery from virus but the team still wins, well done all, the journey continues.
If ever there was a performance to be proud of it was today, the spirit and fight was extraordinary. It was also a match where the possession stat doesn't tell the whole story, although Derby had the majority of possession all the other stats were quite even and I think we deserved to win this game, I thought we pretty much kept them at arms length and had better chances. Bearing in mind we were generally outplayed in midfield, I still thought the midfield to a man buzzed around and made it difficult for Derby to break through and create a worthwhile chance, at least we competed in midfield especially Nagy who was outstanding. The substitutions were spot on, Wells is struggling form wise but I thought the decision to leave him on for 83 minutes was a good one, he only needs one chance to turn things around. Very happy about everything today bearing in mind the disruption to our build up, please, please, please let's get Walsh and Williams fit, we are going to need them soon.
NEXT 3 GAMES see 9 fixtures only involving current top half teams .. City v Watford … Reading v City Norwich away to Stoke and Luton … Watford v PNE … AFC v PNE Midds v Swansea are the most important 8? stop Watford taking 3 .. nick 3 or 1 off Reading then QPR might put smiles on our faces for Christmas! CERTAINLY we look to have a settled team ..momentarily of concern is lack of goals from Wells and Martin? SEMENYO doing fine Fammy as a "impact player /sub" will do OK need him to sign.
