    Match preview;

    Bristol City currently sit 18th, have won 2, lost 2 and drawn 1 of their last five. They have just announced losses of £38.4 million for the last financial year, casting the blame mainly on having no crowds at games. Their top scorer is Andreas Weimann, on 9 goals, followed by Christ Martin on 5 goals. It seems that ex-Ranger, Nahki Wells, is often a sub, and has made 14 appearances since our last meeting in September, but only scored 1 goal in that time. Last time out they lost 2-3 to Huddersfield Town, but their squad remains COVID free and they haven't played since December 18th, due to their game on Boxing Day, vs Luton, being postponed due to COVID in the Luton squad.

    As for us, Dozzell will be banned for this after his late red card vs Stroud on Monday 27th, so he'll be missing. After that loss, we've lost two in a row, which is disappointing after not losing a game in November, but more and more players are out, and with the fixtures coming thick and fast, they seem to need a break. If results go our way this week, we could finish the year as high as fifth, or potentially as low as 11th, which shows just how tight it is in the top half.

    Team news and manager's comments to go up when on the official, enjoy if you'll make it...but given the way things are heading, keep an eye on the news to make sure things are still going head and as always...

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

    As you say from the table situation, the 2 losses in a row at home, and the upcoming AFCON, make it a game we really need to win to keep in that top 6 and not go further down the League. But we'll need a big improvement from last night, and from memory we haven't done well against BC of late.

    £38.4 million losses could see them docked points, likely to be others as well...

    Its averaged over 3 years with 2 seasons taken as 1 in addition due Covid, so one season with those losses wont give them a points deduction.

    Warburton has said Chair is a doubt for Bristol because of an impact injury to his calf, that saw him subbed Monday. Presubly no Dozzell to replace him either unless we successfully appeal his 2nd yellow which I doubt from the pictures I saw. Moses is out for Bristol and Brum., which with Wallace looking well rusty in both his ball control and match fitness Monday, is a problem. Again.

    We’ll smash these inbred yokels assuming they can afford to put the floodlights on.

    Possibly.

    Their wages to income ratio is over 200%, £10 million losses previous season and player values declining, they're in deep sh*t. Wells on £30k a week 3 year contract a good example of basket-case finances. Having said that he'll probably nail us again...

    I'd like to see 2 up top, get Gray up there with Chaz. Possibly play Thomas as a winger , his preferred position and not as a wingback !

    Where would you play Willock (and Chair when available) with Gray and Austin up front?
    I like our 3 at the back, but I'd make it 3-5-1-1 instead of our 3-4-3.
    We push our wing backs so far forward and only have 2 in central midfield.
    These two factors leave us seriously exposed time after time after time, especially in transition.
    With Chair away I'd let Willock have a freeish roll off a forward (not necessarily Charlie) and get an extra body in the midfield.

    I have one senior's (65+) ticket (hard copy, not an online version) which I won't be able to use (I'm Covid vulnerable), free to anyone who can use it. The problem is I live about 45 minutes south of Ashton Gate (near J22 of the M5, Cheddar Gorge area).... too late to post...
