The vast majority of those people with mental health issues are not a danger to anyone except themselves. They are law abiding citizens.

There is no doubt the hate has grown. I sat as a Labour councillor from 1986 until 2004. Every year the Plannng Department organised a coach trip of the district to view how applications that we had passed had turned out. I always say beside the ex Tory leader of the council. We were friends, possibly because I was in business and he was an accountant. I cannot imagine these days being even on speaking terms with the current Tory/Brexit party members. It's Brexit that was the turning point. It's torn the country apart. Incidentally I think that Nick my councillor friend would agree. If I wouldn't even speak to them it's a short trip to visceral hatred. Brexit let the genie out of the bottle.
