Gooch and Mcgeady havent really done enough to warrant being regular starters in my opinion unlike Stewart so these lads need to be given a chance aswell in the league. Theres also OBrien aswell that deserves some game time.
When all players are fit, there is real competition for places! This usually means better performances... brilliant!
Whatever happens we'll end up with the best bench in L1. I'd like to see Broadhead and O'Brien coming off the bench, around 60 minutes, whether we're winning, drawing or losing ... ... bringing on attackers can demoralise a team that's losing and, in any case, O'Brien is very good in defence imo.
Yep.....and surely, if he, and his coaching staff are good enough man managers, then when the time comes to give these new lads more match time, then the current first team'ers should understand the need for squad rotation tactics, and not sulk. ....if the' squad' do get this mindset, we will piss this league this season.
