The steel is going up. They have an extensive framework in place. Goodness knows why you do that without finance in place to complete. I've seen some saying that it will end up as a B&Q. The finances certainly sound very dodgy in every aspect of the club. .

They must have paid the company up front for steel. Have to. Nobody is a charity.

They must be spending every penny of clubs money on stop of the little bit moshiri threw in.

You could only conclude that if they are relegated work would grind to a halt?

    Who knows.

One thing is for sure the company building it would want to be getting paid by small stages.

I am not sure but the steel might be coming from the same place we have got ours.

    The main contractor is different.

It'd be nice for us to get the final steels up and move on to fit out before thry implode though.

    Lol

Seems strange that the auditors also wanted away from them,I wonder what it was that they wouldn't do?

    Work for free most likely.

They maybe have a responsibility under the law once they take on the business and have to get out of it?

Apparently Everton's new stadium is one of the venues in the UK and ROI bid for hosting Euro 2028.

A local landmark with an appropriate name for the new stadium.

(I live not too far from the Mystery) #truestory

You think the FA will pay for it to be completed? About £500m (estimated)

TV money will, not the fa.

Win thr bid and like the blood cup money flows in to fund things.

    Everton would love 100mil handout.

Read that earlier. Anfield not on the list. Is that because of transport issues more than the actual stadium?

No it's the pitch size. Nothing else 4 yards short.

Can never be included in any finals or tournaments.

Don't know about Anfield not being chosen but Bramley Moore is in a difficult position for transport in and out and with access only on one side, unless everyone comes by boat of course <whistle>

still sounds like a recipe for big problems to me and their assumptions nearly all their fans will happily stay in the ground after a match seems unlikely to say the least .

There will be only one way in and out so egress will be difficult. Road links are poor, parking will be a nightmare unless they buy the adjoining dock, it's a long way out from the town centre. Talk of building a train station close by but that was when Joe Anderson was in charge. We now have Joanne (I couldn't care less about football but I love Jurgen Klopp) Anderson at the helm.
