Be our luck that they don't find a case to answer for the Reading game but decide our game had to be fixed and dock both clubs 10 points :emoticon-0138-think

Think this is a wind-up! Some poor sod looking to get lots of likes and retweets.
But if so, how many points would they lose for this kind of indiscretion?
One bloke on Twitter called for 92 points (as a laugh).

Our only shot on target 1st half was Lowe's miss hit shot that rolled to their Keeper. A 5 year old would have saved that.

Think we need another win to be definitely safe. With just 2 points Reading could go above us on GD with 2 wins.

Have to say, on all the highlights I've seen, every single player, including loans, looked completely up for the fight and genuinely ecstatic at the result.

That is the maths to be safe (assuming that Reading do not drop points).

Burnley with 81% possession, that's the highest ever Opta stat since they started Championship stats. Cry in your beer Alastair Campbell...<laugh>

    Stats from before the match

⚽️ Burnley are unbeaten in 22 league games
⚽️ 1 QPR win in the last 14 games Vs Burnley
⚽️ QPR haven’t won at Turf Moor since 2007
⚽️ QPR haven’t scored in 6 of the last 10 games Vs Burnley (none in the last 3).

    Incredible.

Now all we have to do is match Readings worse result.

If they win 2 ...we have to win one
If they win 1/ draw 1...we have to draw 1
If the draw or lose both its "goodnight irene"

Oh and there are a couple of other teams that could become involved.

Not out of the woods yet but it is now truly in our hands, with a completely do- able task.

I think this is one of most emotionally draining seasons ever. An incredible rollercoaster. Topping the league....the near unbelievable decline, where we could not buy a win...and such an incredible result yesterday.

Having missed the Watford match due to ,"work", I have not seen us win since October...near 6 months.

Amazingly Blackpool could still catch us, that 6-1 could still prove decisive...<yikes>

Huddersfield have Cardiff Blades and the Fakes left

That last game might prove decisive

Woke at 2am and straight on here to find out the “damage”. Was shocked that a) it hadn’t already finished, and b) we were ahead. Absolutely stoked with the result although was mentally prepared for the ignominy of relegation and all that would entail.
Still not convinced GA is the answer - who is for our basket case of a club…

I did wonder if the player’s agents had worded their charges up - ‘you won’t get a pay rise to join another club if your “form” continues as is’. The talk of the rift between GA and the benched players (with the exception of Dickie), seems to have been forgotten yesterday, thank god.

feeling much more positive now, even watched the highlights…. There hadn’t been many of late.

To the attendees, hats off to you all

Whatever we think of GA's footballing philosophy, effort levels against Norwich and Burnley were undeniably high. That's the quid pro quo I was hoping we would get with GA so nice to see it's arrived. Doesn't mean he's the right man for the job, of course, but leaves me with a little more hope.

you got to play with what you got. Use Armstrong's pace, Dykes height etc. The ball players won't get us out of this mess alone, we need the Fields, Dunnes and dare I say it after his superb performance . . . Dickie

Exactly this. We’re not good enough to play out from the back so that had to stop. That said, Gareth’s long ball tactics were garbage. Just hoofing it to the immobile Martin was shocking. But get Armstrong and Lowe running on to Dykes flick ons and we at least can cause trouble.
I didn’t see Armstrong feature in the highlights after his introduction. Anyone know how he did?

At this point in their season, neither Stoke or Bristol City have anything at stake to play for and we do, so I'm expecting a draw at Stoke and a Bristol City home win, so a Coronation of sorts to mark us not being relegated. So St.Jude, our famous patron saint of lost causes will be there at the end for us.
