just watched the highlights...would obviously have liked a different camera angle but looked a couple of fairly obvious offsides there for them, for their goal the linesman was unsure if you look at him he is waiting for some signal off the ref from what i could see, maybe also wondering why the blatant dive was not punished.

plenty having a go at dajaku but he did ok first half, was tempted to 'hoof it' a bit second half but maybe the conditions dictated a lot as he was not the only one.

gooch did not want to make runs which surprised me, noticed through the game he could/should have made a run down the wing, if not for the pass then to take a marker with him, other than that another who had a decent game

He's 19 and very raw. I think he has buckets of potential and will grow into a cracking player. Its rare seeing a player that age already the full package and who is always consistent.

I remember when Ronaldo first started out at Man Utd. His shooting was horrendous and he'd always lose the ball trying to do too much. I doubt anybody thought he'd go on to be a great player at that stage.

Dajuku will never be Ronaldo level. I'm making the point he's still in his development stage and has a quite a lot of learning to go before he's fully developed into the player we hope he's going to be.

You can see the talent and I believe he's got a decent mentality. Doesn't seem the type to not bother trying when he doesn't fancy it.

Yeah, exactly. I wouldn't be against putting him in the u23's for a month or two so he's playing regularly.

I've just been reading this... https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....ern-munich-striker-vfb-stuttgart-germany-5633

Sign him on a permanent. He'll make it somewhere if it's not with us. His best work comes when he plays in the middle just off the striker.

I'm not totally convinced by Dajaku yet either, but he does have potential, maybe in a years time having him on one side and Diamond on the other could be a tasty option. At this moment there is little to choose between the two, in fact I think Diamond is probably the more gifted.

Didn't realise he was so young

EDIT: He isn't. He'll be 21 in a few months

Still. He's young and has potential I guess
