Tees it’s not as easy as that. There’s no value down here. Almost every club spends little bits but never big money. Only Ipswich didn’t serious money down here and they’re still behind us and were awful against us (better than us but still lost). Not many others made a major signing. We signed some quality but 3-4 potential first teamers injured would screw everyone down here. Who’s to say that spending would’ve solved that? Could’ve spent and players got injured? I think the players we signed are good enough and sufficient for get us up. Think that should tell you who I think is to blame if we don’t go up
Wouldnt be disappointed with that mate. I would go Younger above Wright normally but Wright has made me eat my words last couple of games.
Im not even going there mate so dont even get me started. Rtb goes to alot of trouble to create these threads and im not going to let some argumentative kunt spoil it for everybody else. It seems people arent allowed an opinion anymore on here so feck it im done with it all
Great thread as usual We need a win and I think we’ll get one LJ getting a bit of stick deservedly this week me included. But I believe he is working his bollox off to get it right. Whether he will is debatable but while he’s here hes one of the lads So I’ll go for a surprising 3-0 win.
no Mcgeady and they said Stewart is out so no chance, get our loan players back pronto, and roll on January.
Some of our best games, over the years, have been backs to the wall games away from home. There'll be a lot of pent up anger which I hope is channelled in the right way, there's been fighting between ourselves at matches like this which I hate to see. The players will have a big away support watching them and they'll be under no illusions. The club has looked after this team and it's time for the likes of Embleton, Neil, etc, to live up to their reputations. There's no other option but a win, and a big performance, and that's what I think we'll get. 3-0 to Sunderland and a welcome relief for all concerned. Haway the Lads!!!
Individually - Yes. Collectively - No. I'd like our squad to be older and definitely more experienced. I think it's going to take a full season for a lot of these young lads to get up to scratch playing professional football week in and week out. Next season I think we'll really see some of these signings flourish and I'd like to see them do it under Johnson.
You are allowed an opinion, mate. It just has to be the same opinion as everybody else otherwise you are obviously here just to cause trouble and wind folk up.
Weather forecast has improved since last night, but gonna be windy, cold & rainy. A day for brave souls - time to step up LJ & Co
Sooner or later things will change for the better. Why not start here. 0-4. Ross back in the goals plus a screamer from Winny. For a team that has had a sh*t run to be still in touch with the top 2 shows how good we were/are. As always RTB a great write up and thanks for all your efforts.
Well I guess it will be radio newcastle or nothing today. If we lose in a faint hearted limp display... I wonder what KLD's reaction will be
I want to see a good performance more than anything, after the shambles of late. A result would be nice
