He'll be glad to have gotten out of there, total basket case of a club, make us look as well run as Man Citeh.
Think the majority of clubs are 'basket cases' rather than well-run these days. You'd have to be an exceptionally good or lucky manager to get a crack at a decent club.
Think they twice in the last 6 months had players unpaid, they're under a transfer embargo due to a 600k tax bill that's unpaid...it's looking pretty grim for them
He cited his main reason for leaving being that he didnt want to be a financial burden on the club. Fair play to him. Lots of people out there would stick around and claim his wages regardless. He always comes across as a bit of a berk. I think he'd probably get on well with Ehab! I hope he does get a shot at a half decent club though, hes been around and about long enough for someone to take a punt on him.
The only reason the Allams would take him, would be for some positive PR, they’d probably screw that up though!
What has he done though which would give a half decent club to take a punt on him? Great player but that doesn't always make a great manager
anyone who thinks coronavirus was man made and designed to kill black people is a ****ing idiot which makes him an ideal candidate to manage hull city
So, he's overseen Southend being relegated to League 2 and managed to prevent a League 2 team from dropping out of the League - looking at that I'd hazard a guess League 2 is where he belongs? Why would you let him ''practice'' on a Championship club that NEEDS to stay in the division with the qualifications shown so far?
He doubled Southend's points per game after taking over, despite them not having any money and him not being able to sign anyone. Macclesfield looked dead and buried when he took over, but he got 8 wins and 12 draws in 30 games to keep them up. Both teams were financially ****ed when he took over and he had little to work with, he'll get another chance before long.
