But Zimmerman is still relatively young for a CB at 24, new to the championship and new to the team, whilst Martin is past his sell by date, an experience championship player and is / was far too comfortable at Norwich. He's also the captain and was supposed to be there to help the likes on Zimmerman settle in. In addition Zimmerman has shown that in a short period of time when he plays with an experienced senior CB he can put in some good performances, whereas it seems whoever Martin plays with tends to have a poor game and as for Martin I can't remember the last time he put in a really good performance. So all things are not equal and yes Martin's poor performances should be judged more harshly than Zimmerman's.
I seem to remember when we played Arsenal at home in the 2011 - 2012 season, he had a really good game, including a header off the line
Great days, though. The club under Lambert forged a path ahead, whereas ever since it's been tread water or zip up and down a level.
Yes, quite possibly - I just prefer to remember the Swansea 3 - 4 Norwich to yet another turgid nil - nil under CH
