HCOSC has supported The Josh Fell Foundation for several years. Every week in the UK at least 12 fit & healthy young people, 35 or under die suddenly from undiagnosed cardiac conditions; 80% of those deaths occur with NO prior symptoms, but cardiac screening has been shown to lead to an 89% reduction. The screening is free to anyone aged between 14 - 35. please log in to view this image
These really are excellent sessions & you should attend if you can. I visited a session yesterday at South Cheshire College & it was fully utilised all day. As an extra I received a letter from CRY a couple of weeks ago thanking me for the money raised when I completed last year’s 10K in Hull. I couldn’t have achieved either the large amount of donations or the run itself without the support of many wonderful people including you all on here. Their thanks, & mine, extend to you all. Thank you, now go & get checked out.
There were places on both days when I checked before posting at 10am. Just shows you how popular (sounds wrong if you know what I mean) these are.
From the Cry web site If any of these dates, locations or the screening event you would have liked to have booked into are full, CRY have a screening interest form available. On the form you can request to be informed directly via email when another screening in your area becomes available. http://c-r-y.us9.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=bb9eea4e8db4652e04e295506&id=007655e445
Wish I'd seen this before it was fully booked. My wife is convinced I have a dodgy ticker. Has anybody managed to sign up to the subscription list for future events? I don't receive the confirm your email address email.
