That'll be a confidence boost for the lad.
Goal and assist. Can only do him good.

Made very hard work of that after our 3rd. The back 4, Morro in particular, looked very tired.

We can't do a lot about that for Luton away with few replacements other than Bagan and Brown.

Hopefully Ralls and Ojo will be fit to freshen up midfield.

Tomlin can't be far off match fitness and maybe, just maybe, Jonny William's. But don't tell Hilts.

It was a strange 2nd half. It seemed they were content at 3-0 to just sit back and let Coventry on, with so much space in midfield. Good thing they didn’t score earlier.
To be fair Coventry will play worse and win - a well organised and not unskillful team, O’ Hare in particular but we were just better n both boxes.

Another 3 points. Increased goal difference.
    11/15 points undefeated for MM
    Progress.

I thought Cov looked a very good side to the extent that we were hanging in there in the end and looked out on our feet.

I wondered why Mick didn't change things at the back when Morrison looked as though he was about to flake out in the last 15 minutes through fatigue.

I won't say we were lucky - just a tad fortunate that they didn't get their goal earlier.

Another game Tuesday and that defence needed a breather.

I suspect he didn’t want to change the dynamic of the back 3. Bagan or Brown could easily have come on.

Expected Moore to go off as well with 10-15 to go for Watters.

    Coventry were utter sh!t.

Hopeless in both boxes. Rubbish keeper.

Passed the ball around nicely at times without doing much with it.

We took or foot of the gas at 3 nil.

They are in deep trouble. I think they will go down

Probably MMs one failing. Using the bench.
Hope we dont pick up injuries through fatigue or run players into the ground.

Didn't have suitable subs to make the change needed. If Brown had come on then Nelson and Flint would have had to shuffle across or bring on Sang and go to a back four.

Agreed about Moore. He was shattered. Watters would have done a better job of chasing and closing down defenders.

Cov will play worse and win. A good side going forward.

Anyway, we all have our opinions but 3 points is 3 points and, just as important, max points for me in the prediction league.

MM might have to make changes to give some fresh legs for Luton.

    Coventry were hopeless though.

Perry going on about them passing about nicely I think has influenced some.

    Theyve got Norwich next week.

I think they are heading for the drop. Rotherham are far better and I think Sheffield Weds will be fine.

We did give that O Hare a bit of a kicking though.

I seem to remember Barnsley were utter **** until they flew past half the division into the top 8. If you watched them against Chelsea in the Cup this week, they looked far from **** and could easily have won that.

Coventry are better than the current bottom 3 and better than some above them too. They wont go down.

We were fortunate today they couldn't finish and we did. If you think we took our foot off the gas when 3-0 up then that was a mistake as well.

Theyve got Norwich Brentford and Swansea next. They are in deep trouble.

They definitely arent better than Sheffield Wednesday.

Definitely should have used the bench.

    Id have used the maximum.

We could have won that today with half the under 23s.

Birmingham always seem to get out of it but look in the **** this time.

Weds have had the points deduction have a game in hand I think they will get out of it.

    Wycombe are down.

Coventry are awful and should be in the bottom 3 by now. But will be soon.

Maybe Birmingham will go this time but ive a feeling they may get out of it again and maybe Huddersfield will drop.

It's all about opinions Hilts pal, but Coventry are not ****. You were wrong about Barnsley and you're wrong about them. I still remember your "Harris is going nowhere" post......<laugh> :emoticon-0105-wink:

I watched Cov beat Reading on the box and they were good value for it. They've already drawn with Norwich, Watford and Swansea, and beaten Millwall at the Den. There's a decent result in them against anyone on the day. Wycombe are toast and Brum are truly **** even with Karanka at the helm. Wednesday are probably the most likely to escape the trap door, but at whose expense?

Will just say it's going to be a right scrap at the bottom, and just grateful we shouldn't be in it now thanks to MM - never had the confidence to say that whilst Harris was here.
