However, the Bluebirds have promotion aspirations of their own. If they beat the Whites, and other games go their way, they could fly to the last play off space. Leeds have occupied the top perch for 101 days, since dispatching Hudddersfield Town 2-0 at Elland Road, back on March 7th. Kiko Casilla is serving an eight game suspension, and won't be available for selection until the final game of the season against Charlton. Jean-Kevin Augustin's recurrence of his hamstring injury has all but ruled him out of the final nine games. Adam Forshaw is back in light training, but not expected to be match fit until after the season has been concluded. Finally, there is mystery surrounding Pablo Hernandez's availability. Social media is rife with reports that the 35yo has pulled his hamstring. We await official word. Cardiff City Manager Neil Harris has his injury concerns too. Greg Cunningham is still recovering from his ACL injury sustained whilst on loan during the first part of the season whilst Welsh International Jazz Richards has suffered a fresh injury blow that will keep the right back sidelined for a few weeks. There is better news for Lee Tomlin and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing. Both have responded well to treatment, and look set to face the Whites on Sunday.looked set to miss the rest of the campaign when they suffered their respective injuries. Other games of significance The Championship kicks off on Saturday at 12.30 with third place Fulham entertaining 4th place Brentford. A win for the Cottagers would bring them within four points of Leeds. The Bee's are a further four points behind Scott Parker's men. Many pundits are reporting that Brentford posses a greater threat to Leeds than Fulham. Second place West Brom host Birmingham. Though local derbies can be unpredictable, you have to fancy the Baggies here. Blues Manager Pep Clotet has handed in his notice at St Andrews but will see out the season. They are eight points and 5 places above the drop zone. Charlton travel to Hull for a massive 6 pointer. A lot will depend on whether Lee Bowyer can rally his troops. Hull have not won a game since early January, conceding 30 goals this year alone. Nottingham Forest face a tricky tie at Hillsborough, whilst Preston make the 200 mile trip to Luton.
4 hours in a coach for 230 miles? Do-able if you can manage a 60mph average. But then you hit the match traffic! Oh, wait a minute .....
I see what you did there. True to form Chesh and proves my point from this post this morning on Elland's thread on our forum............... https://www.not606.com/threads/evening-cardiff-fans.384245/#post-13879063
Yep got me for the first 2 don't care about you playing in the English leagues, as long as it's not in the prem with us.
Oldsparkey, Pitty about no fans, but if I post a few bricks, can you smash a few windows etc to get a bit of atmosphere going.
Just wish a few more of our guys would join in - it's ony a laugh on here after all - or at least it should be. I've tried to promote some interaction but a City poster got burned last year and banned from your forum for going too far (in your guy's opinions anyway). There is a limit and sometimes it's overstepped but when you live by the sword you either die by it or just get on with it - I've never had any problems over here.
You need a certain sence of humour, some lose it quickly, maybe only 1 in 5 or 1 in 10 from my experience from visits to other teams pages, can be good fun when you get the right poster though.
Cardiff City stadium is always empty anyway, wont make much difference to the atmosphere at the ground
Have you got anymore covid cases Tom, had 1 Monday didn't you, apparently 8 from 6 clubs announced today
Oops, look out - a wurzel has escaped form the farm - and a mod as well............ Hey Tom - banned or deleted anyone recently?..........
Just the one, they not saying who it is but rumours are it's Andi Weimann as he's not been featured recently
Hi sparkey how’s things ? And no because everyone is welcome on our forum unlike when we post on yours
Looking OK thanks Tom. Must be honest, though I'm not exactly feeling the love across there, I must be behaving myself - I haven't been deleted since banksy packed it in. As far as you lot on our forum is concerned, let me know if there's a problem, because I don't know of any unless you've got some thin-skinned wurzels about.
