4 more goals to add to the previous 12 and another 2 scorers to add to the previous 7.
No relying on 1 player. Everyone wanting to get in on the act. Players get injured / ill and no automatic route back. Places earned.
    Mick playing things down.
I feel there is more to come.
You're right though. MM comfortable in his own skin. Will do what he does and what will be will be.
Put it this way, if Tan doesn't sign him at the end of the season, he won't be short of offers come June. No lose situation for him as long as he keeps churning out results.

EDIT: - just re-reading what I wrote and realised what the implications are. 7 games, 16 goals, 7 (yes, seven) different scorers.
No wonder Smithies cant get in the side with his scoring record. <laugh>

The next 6 games will go a long way to determining our season.

    Away - Bournemouth
    Middlesborough
    Huddersfield
    Swansea

    Home - Direby
    Watford

If we are still there or thereabouts come middle of March, we will be strongly placed to get play offs again.

Watters and Williams didn't get on today and in the next couple of weeks we will have Tomlin, Tutu and Ralls in contention plus Hoilett. So good strength in depth plus a few youngsters who have done okay given the chance.

Our weakness is now the reliance on Moore with no obvious replacement and a change of style needed to accommodate Watters or Harris.

Also, I thought Flint was a bit of a headless chicken today but MM's steady hand can deal with that.

Bit harsh on Flint. Thought he had a very good game.

Provided the ball is coming towards his head and not his feet. Has the turn and touch of an oil tanker.

Flint in the middle of that back 3 has made all the difference since Mick entrusted him with the spot there.

I thought he was solid when we needed him to be - a great move by Mick. That back 3 looks good to me.

Dont knock Mozzas penalty taking ability. As a young player in the play off final at Wembley Mozza was the last Huddersfield outfield player to take a penalty v Sheff Utd. Slotted away nicely. The 11th penalty also put away by a Cardiff player as Smithies converted. The Sheff Utd keeper missed.

They will be tested over the next few games. Especially against sides who play more on the ground. If we get 12 points from the next 18 we will have done well.
