We still can't pass the ball. Passes were under/over hit, or just sent in the wrong direction - it makes us look like refugees from League One. Lump it up or head tennis reigns because we haven't got an alternative. There's no "connection" between our players on the pitch other than they're wearing the same colour shirt.

That won't change until there's a positive move to get the ball down and play through teams instead of over the top, and for that, we'll need a new core to the team - and oh, probably a new manager as well. Swansea were as poor a side as I've seen at the CCS this season - barring us.

I think we are trying to pass the ball more. Bennett is now trying to overlap as well.

Harris is doing ok in my book.

Ralls back will be massive. Hopefully we can get a striker in as we are really weak in our attacking options.

Trying to pass and being able to pass are two different things. Harris is as direct as Warnock was.

He's trying to offer up change because it's been called for without having the personal ability nor players available to do it.

Just an opinion, but when I see Moore and Gregory mooted as our potential targets, it only confirms it.

Pity we haven’t got a decent no 9 to convert those crosses. 3-4 gilt edged chances from decent crosses went begging yesterday.

I notice that the official attendance was 28500. Okay there were a few empty seats but it looked more to me.

Probably about right. We gave the Jack's the same allocation they gave us, around 2,000, and I heard they didn't sell their full location due to the bubble restrictions. Birmingham had 2,500 attending.

Then there's the seats not used due to segregation.

In the very top tier of the Ninian, the block over looking the Jack fans wasn't used.

In the Grandstand top tier very few seats were used in the 2 end blocks. In the Grandstand itself there were lots of empty seats towards the Family Stand, including one half of a row and lots of unused seats in the Family Stand as well. Also with the game being on Sky a few st holders might not have bothered due to the "hassle factor" of a local derby.

In real terms a bit disappointing, perhaps the visiting team weren't a major attraction, but still our biggest gate by nearly 4k.

How did City let Cabango slip through the net?

He’s a Cardiff lad who went to Plasmwr yet he ends up first at Newport then at swansea.

Our youth policy needs serious reinventing.

OK, pause for thought. Recorded the game on Sky yesterday and just watched it back this morning at leisure. Must say (admit <whistle>) that we are trying to pass the ball more under Harris but a basic lack of accuracy and pace is not helping. Some of the mistakes made yesterday were groan inducing to say the least.

On and off the ball Pack was so slow and the weight on his passes is often poor. Bacuna is real trier but there is a lack of quality and anticipation in the middle of the park - this the area we need to improve. Two ball playing quality recruits would see Pack and Bacuna on the bench. I like Ralls and he'll add energy when he returns, but not necessarily the skills we need.
