If Rangers retired the number 12 jersey but The Rangers were using it in their previous game, how can they be the same club?

    It's not the same.

I never knew that a Celtic Director was on the board of Torbett's Trophy Centre and that Celtic continued to do business with Torbett after he was jailed for molesting the players at Celtic Boys Club.

    Don't you think that's shocking ?

Don't forget all the people who worked at or bought from or sold to the trophy centre

It's appaling but that's the Kellys and the Whites for you.

Fergus booted them out the door long ago, so they are no more representative of Celtic in the modern era than Struth, Symon and Waddell are representative of The Rangers in the modern era.

Are Celtic to be held accountable for the actions or inactions of people who have long gone? I don't see why they should be but we will have to live with the stigma of being called Paedos and Rangers can live with the stigma of being sectarian bigots once upon a time.

Double teaming a young striker wasn't just a defensive tactic for me

You couldn't care less that a Director of the team you support was helping line the pockets of a convicted paedophile that brought worldwide shame to your club ?

    That explains a lot.

Well Rangers are being held accountable for the actions or inactions of Whyte and Murray and they've gone.

To the best of my knowledge Celtic have never been punished for this.

Yes, it does explain a lot... <doh>

None of this affects me in any way, shape or form. I support a football team but it's a very small part of my life. I no longer go to games as I'd rather spend my hard earned money on something worthwhile (like having an actual life).

All these incidents you are posting about happened either 1) When I wasn't born 2) When I was not even a teenager (Born in 1977)

So, I'm supposed to give a **** that a paedo abused some kids or that some shysters continued a business link with a paedo?

Why the **** would I ... it is in no way linked to my life or has any affect on how I live my life personally!

**** off Rocket - I've explained before, I'm not yer fishing audince on these topics. <ok>

They continued to trade with Torbett's company so that Torbett widny squeal them up over the cover up. That was the deal. Allegedly.
