Isnt it miserable fellow blues, knowing the draw is taking place today and we aren't part of it!

I think I'll give it a miss and go and do a bit of sunbathing outside!

    Boo hoo!

Yep BM2, it's a bit of a bummer alright. Having said that, on the positive side it's a great opurtunity for Conte to use all the extra free mid-weeks to good effect. No excuses this season not to give all 3 competitions we're in a right good rattle. Have to say i'm impressed with Conte's work since he came in.

Naas , that's just the right way to look at it.. I suppose we've been spoiled with all the euro competition we've been involved in over the years, so it seems strange not being there.

I think this is the first time since 1996 that we haven't been in European competition. :(

It is always good for the soul to experience things from another perspective. I for one will enjoy watching the champions league games without any bias or forebodings as to the results. It will put me in a place that I have been for many years before, and I can honestly say, when we (do/if) resume our European, fixtures, then I am determined to appreciate it more. The team have to earn it not expect it, as seemed to be the case last year. FORZA AZZURRI !

I think Spurs will do okay to be honest. See them probably being the only PL team to top their group.
The others should go through, but as runners up.
Think Spurs will go out in the quarters, or maybe Semis if they get a decent QF draw.

Nah I think they will do ok in the CL.
    But appallingly in the league.
I originally thought they would be better than they have been in the PL, but its early days yet.

Kane looks lost. I actually pity that guy.
his workload has just doubled - but he doesn't look like half of what he was last year.
How are they going to replace Kane's goals?

Kane is beginning to look like a one season wonder, his touch has deserted him, he lacks pace (if he ever had any). So his game is all about finishing and he is way off the mark in that department too. Don't say its only temporary, look at what happened to Torres, although he had quite a few good seasons before the magic departed.

He seems to be a slow starter, maybe the break does him no favours (Rooney has always taken weeks to get back to fitness). I wouldn't read too much into his England performances either as the setup is so different.

I hope as well for his & England's sake, not for Spuds though <ok>

    But looks unlikely.
