@BrizzleBluebird - and you got a like from me because you just confrmed it's not only me that's nuts.
I watched the second half and agree QPR were the better team. But it’s the body language of the two managers which provided the biggest contrast. Warburton was kicking and heading every ball and encouraging his players to the final whistle. Rooney on the hand was a miserable statue whose only movement was to incessantly spit. A dejected figure who is resigned to the fact that his team are going down to League 1. However I expect he will have jumped ship by then.
Spot on Irish. Warburton lived every minute of the gamewhereas Rooney looked like he didn't want to be there and couldn't wait for it to finish. Also I did notice the incessant spitting whilst on camera. The gum chewing Thomas Franks takes the runners up spot for annoying habits.
Fulham and Bournemouth drew I see. This gives us a chance tomorrow to catch up with those currently in the automatic places.
OK then, I missed that draw last night. Just to reinforce the courage of my convictions, see those 5 games above on this weekend that I posted about earlier in this thread? £1 Super Yankee (£26) just gone on. The last (QPR v Stoke) is tomorrow. Might have a bit of a sweat on during that game if a few or even all of the others come in - potential return £1551.05
Don't worry, I'll raise a glass to you...... Need 2 to end in draws to get most of my stake money back - 3 draws amongst them and we're in with a decent profit. If 4 of them end in draws, it gets serious............all 5 of them and.................
Preston sack McAvoy and Ryan Lowe from Plymouth takes over. Plymouth fans a little unhappy at the manner of his departure but content that his replacement, Schumacher, assistant to Lowe at Plymouth, was the brains of the team and is likely to do a better job.
Is there anyone here who can tot up how many points Coventry have gained in injury time this season? Today adds one more to the list.
Been at Bournemouth/Blackburn game. Blackburn very organised, strong and physical, typical Mowbray side. Bournemouth poor but missing 4 or 5 best players. Referee? Simon f'ing Hooper. Bournemouth fans hate him too.
Trouble at Ashton Gate with missiles being thrown. I hope football hooliganism isn't making a comeback.
