I must say indifferent to be honest , never thought I'd feel like this but with all the other nonsense being carried out in the country I'm not really fussed
If we win this one then they haven't beaten us in five consecutive games ( including last seasons friendly), since Caulker scored all those years ago https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...s-free-18391724.amp?__twitter_impression=true
By all accounts both managers were satisfied with the players performances....in other words we are no better othan we were before. Waste of time?
Not sure whether it was a waste of time or not but a semi competitive game has to have its benefits imo we're starting afresh the real test starts next week ,I don't think we're good enough or more to the point the manager is to gain promotion so I think above mid table will be our final position,
Fvckin right I am AS. Booked Reading + overnighter with family so I hope we get back to winning ways immediately. Read that Freddie & Rhian want to extend their stays too, which is welcome news. Nev & Matthew are right tho, current climate puts football into perspective.
Swansea City can confirm that five players have signed extensions to their contracts for the remainder of the elongated 2019-20 season. Wayne Routledge, Nathan Dyer, Mike van der Hoorn, Kyle Naughton and Erwin Mulder were due to be out of contract on June 30. That would have meant they would have been unable to play a part in Swansea’s final six fixtures of the Championship run-in, plus any potential play-off games. But the quintet have agreed terms through to August 4, the date of the Championship play-off final.
Good news imo . I'd like to see Wayne stay at the Club when he finishes playing . he's had the opportunity to play under many different mangers and under various systems so I'm sure he'd have a wealth of knowledge to partake to the younger Academy players.(that is if we keep it going) , Concentrate now on finishing the season as high as possible and who knows where it may take us
I’d like Wayne and Nath stay on in the club. Think they could do a cracking job with the academy players.
Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge both deserve long term rolls at the club after their playing days are over, but I doubt it will happen under the current regime, especially if we are still here in the championship next season, with parachute payments all but gone, be tough for the club next season............
