Spending a ****full of cash when they got promoted and saying their pretty football will keep them up. Then sulking when they finish behind cardiffs 1900s football AGAIN.
Declaring their instant return to the prem this season (which they may) as if its their right.

Leeds the same, we deserve to be in the premier league because we're 'a big club', same with man u living off past glories. We deserve to be in the champions league because we're man u and have won it lots before.

No issue with clubs stating aspirations, all clubs do. Its the thinking there is a right or that its deserved is where the arrogance comes in.

 

The times I've came on here is when Fulham have been the topic, i dont just come on randomly to gloat.

 

Who is this “they” you are talking about? If its Fulham fans then I've certainly not seen anyone say any of those things. We cant help how much the club chose to spend last summer, but spending money makes us arrogant? Are Aston Villa also arrogant for spending money this summer?

 

So the fact that you're on here today has nothing to do with the fact we lost?

 

I was having a read through earlier when I got to the comments about Fulham. The arrogant comment was enough to make me comment.

 

Read what i said. I didnt say spending money makes you arrogant (foolheardy if it doesnt come off, especially if FFP bites a club on the arse). Its thinking spending money gives you the right that is arrogant.
Indeed, fulham fans were posting about their style earning them promotion, as was your owner who was very vocal and disparaging of our chances / right.
I posted on the fulham board last year that there are no points for artistic impression.

More than one way to skin a cat. You mightn't like it, and your owner certainly doesnt, but for the last 2 years, our spending and our style of play was better than yours.

Seems to be an inferiority complex to me, you're looking at us spending money and playing nice football and decide you don't like it so make up some irrational dislike of Fulham and call us arrogant.

Cardiff much like most other clubs are of little interest to me, I have no interest in how much money you spend or your style of play. I just find it strange that Fuham seems to have irked you all so much.

 

I dont get the Fulham arrogant thing either. They are spending big. Play good football. Dont think their fans are arrogant. In fact bit of a boring fan base. FFS theyve got a neutral zone.

Smallish club who are somehow splashing the cash and have kept PL quality.

They will be in the PL again probably along with Leeds a club miles bigger than them.

As long as they are not breaking FFP then they can do what they want.

We are in for a hammering off them in a couple of weeks.

I like your style of play. Its your fans and your owner had a dislike of cardiff.
And answer me this, why should we be irked? We finished above you the last 2 years.
If we'd finished below you, you could claim sour grapes, but we didnt Thats what irked Khan and some of your fans.

 

I have no idea why you are all so irked, thats why I asked. Theres clearly something though, I dont see discussions like this about any other clubs.

You have finished above us twice but ultimately it has meant very little, we won the play offs a couple years back and then last season we both got relegated, its hardly success on your part just to finish above us.

 

Finishing above you didnt have any long term benefits.
But its why fulham are irked, not us.

 

I think the players should be ashamed of themselves that was the most miserable showing I have seen from a city team, and I have seen a few in my 73 years. Also management need to look at the way they set up the team and the tactics they employ,or I can see us fighting relegation or at best mid table ,this is not good enough and changes must be made sooner rather than later.

 

Don’t think many if any expected the wurzels to win at Derby.

Why couldn’t we get to play Stoke By the time we play them they’ll probably be much improved.
