Predicting the outcome of this should be the easiest in the entire championship run in of all the clubs competing. I keep thinking simple stats say it's time for history to change and it never does. Plus Millwall are higher than us on the league on merit, notwithstanding we had the worst injury crisis I have ever seen in any club I keep half an eye on, for about three quarters of this season.
Not many goals between these two lately so I'll go for a 2-0 win to the Addicks simply for the Stranglers song, Something Better Change!

Getting into the spirit of our friendly clashes with Millwall down the years, I managed to glass my hand today.

Sliced a finger and thumb pretty good while washing up one of those f**king cheap beer glasses they sell at the supermarkets. Without warning the thing shattered while I was washing it up. Just about managed to patch myself up, I hope I won't have to go to A&E.
A timely reminder to look after yourselves chaps, during these weird times.
Don't want to be rushing to hospital for any reason.

Tomorrow I'm going to buy some of those clear plastic beakers they sell for taking on picnics etc. They aren't as nice looking as real glass but they certainly are safer.

I still think we're going to win this evening... :emoticon-0165-muscl

Ouch, you were very lucky mate.

Glad it was not much worse, perhaps a lucky sign for tonight.

<laugh> Elfs was right, in that I am lucky it wasn't worse.

I sliced myself quite badly but not very deeply, so aside from a lot of mess I'm hoping I will be able to heal up without needing to get medical help. A few stitches might be advisable, but my hand is still working and none of it has gone blue yet.
I'll see how it is tomorrow, but (uncut) fingers crossed I have got away with this one.

Several times in the past I've suffered cuts while washing up glasses that have unexpectedly broken in the bowl. But this was by far the worst one.
I'll never buy those glasses again - as I said I'm off to buy some strong plastic beakers tomorrow.

Well my prediction was way off. That sounded like a mix of the worst bits of our previous 10 meetings with Millwall.
Going to bed, why do I even think we could win tonight.

    I watched it on Sky.

A fairly even game at times, both teams put in plenty of effort. Millwall were a bit better than us - and they have players who can score goals.
Bonne has hit a barren patch and that just leaves 'occasional' scorers like Pratley and Pearce.
Thanks for your support Lyle :emoticon-0172-mooni

I thought the game would be more gung-ho, which is why I predicted a high score.
But I suppose with no atmosphere it was never going to get too feisty.

    Relegation is 50/50 now.
I think we might get to 50 points with 2 games left to play, but no idea whether that will be enough.

We'll have to see how the bottom 5 teams get on over the weekend.

    It was inevitable.

For the sake of 6 points next season, I hope you stay up <cheers>

Same old, same old. When you get a decent chance like Bonne had in the first half you must take it at this level. Sadly we have been punished once again but we haven't scored a goal in open play since Lapslie against Luton and unless it's a set piece we are struggling.

You can't keep hoping that the back line will keep getting clean sheets

Only disappointment for me was we didn't score 4 or 5 like we should have.
3 blatant penalty's not given in the first half.
