Paul Tisdale says that this trophy gives him the opportunity to play some of his fringe players to keep them sharp....personally we haven't got anything at the moment but fringe players....twenty odd of them to be honest.

I cannot see us winning this unless they rest all their recognized goal scorers and give us a chance....sorry that's how I see it....we'll be scared stiff of losing to them....losing just isn't an option for us...but how do we get the ball in their net....unless we draw 0-0 and win a penalty shootout like we did against the Chelsea boys.

It makes no difference who we play, we need to improve and gain confidence.. Fringe or first team players they all should want to win when they pull on the shirt..

What is going on?? Do we think there is unrest in the dressing room/camp?

Lyndhurst would have to say no whatever he did or didn't know. I respect that and wouldn't expect anything less from him. However, the rumour mill is at full tilt and I have some belief that a few know more than most of us. These rumours are not going away .

pasoti is the place Joe but the posts get filtered as fast as they go on so I still don't know exactly what is being said. There is one hint of somebody playing away and it hasn't gone down too well. It is true that it is rumour of course but they are pesisting with it. I still maintain you can see something is not right with the players even if we don't actually know that for sure. It just looks that way.

Still have 11 on the pitch for a home game. That's a record in itself.

1 - 2 and here we go again. Carey went off injured having been restrained when he thought he had been fouled. Still got 11 on the pitch though.

Argyle win on penalties with all 5 being scored. Just for Joe the attendance was allegedly exactly 3800.

Want to make it clear at the outset that I couldn't care less about this competition. However, I do care about Argyle. They seemed to struggle to beat Exeter reserves tonight but on the plus side they didn't lose the match. Have to say I did think they might deep down. This isn't going to kick start anything but at least the supporters don't have to put up with a load of crap from up the road. Yes I am clutching at any straw that comes along.
