Thought Saliba was top class today. Literally pocketed Aubameyang - was great to see.

    Partey as well.

Zinchenko straight back into the team and had a decent performance.

    Big statement win that.

We've beaten Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs now. Next big test is going to be City and I've got a feeling that's going to be a proper ding dong of a match

Like when Luke Skywalker has to fight Darth Vader lol

It's kinda crazy when you think we've got 34 points from a possible 39 this Season.

    Incredible performance and win yesterday.

Frankly, the score line flattered Chelsea. That should have been a 3-0 win. Pity we couldn’t emphasise our dominance, but that’s 3 wins in a row at Stamford Bridge. We went 10 years without a single victory at Stamford Bridge and then they start coming like buses <laugh>

Jesus had a very good game and led the line extremely well. Although it’s clear this 9 game scoreless streak is bothering him when he’s in front of goal.

Partey and Xhaka were dominant in the middle, Odegaard connected play nicely (shame he doesn’t have a right foot), Saka and Martinelli were always causing problems, our defence was absolutely immaculate.

Saliba, Gabriel, White, Zinchenko - all had imperious games.

What I really liked was after going 1-0 up, it made us even more confident and we started to take it up a gear. We didn’t sit back and try to defend or make the game scrappy; we were relentless in pressing, retaining the ball, running at them, being technically secure.

We’ve beaten Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea this season - if people want to keep doubting whether we’re the real deal or not, do it at your peril!

Really hope we can win at Wolves on the weekend and then go into the WC top of the league <ok>

After Wolves it will also be 6 out of our last 9 league games having been away. We'll have played 6 home and 8 away in total. Only 11 away games left this season after Wolves.

It’s a shame that World Cup is coming when it is. I hope it doesn’t disrupt our momentum and / or our players pick up any injuries.

On the flip side, we will come back in Jan and be able to strengthen the squad if needed.

But can’t say I’ve got any enthusiasm for this World Cup at all

Yeah, it’s a **** time to have a World Cup. Just not right that it’s being hosted during Winter.

On the (plus) side from a selfish point of view, rumours are Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes won’t be taken to the WC. If true, I’m gutted for them personally, but happy that they get extra rest over Xmas period.

Odegaard will also be rested, as will Tierney and Zinchenko.

Then there’s squad players like Nketiah, Nelson, Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira, Elneny etc who will also get a break. Hopefully we get Smith-Rowe back too following his surgery.

May not be the worst thing from an Arsenal POV…

Jesus and Martinelli make it into the Brazil World Cup squad. Gabriel Magalhaes misses out. I do feel for him, but at least he gets some recovery time. Happy on a personal level for Jesus and Martinelli.
