really, only for balotelli, any other player in the prem this season would have went down under that stupid idiotic challenge and he'd have been 100% off the field. How would that have sit with your rating of him. He's a good player but makes fkn idiotic decisions at times. Good ability stuffed brain.

How did meirelles stay on the field after 30 mins? No pen either, the pen was more of a pen than the one Chelsea got yet Clattenberg had no hesitation giving that one. Game should have finisheed with maybe 9 men each as well.

Good ref and city were 2 up and Che down to 10 after 30 minutes, AVB is still going to lose his job unless he gets clattenberg to ref every game

How on earth can you say Balo should've gone down? There was no contact on him and he was through on goal, most ridiculous 'what if' I've ever heard <doh>. Silva dived, fed up with this bullshit on 'if there's contact', contact is a vague word, he was jumping before he got to Bosingwa's leg. Clattenburg obviously saw what I saw. How the **** was it more of a pen than ours? If he thinks it's a dive then obviously a handball is more justified.

You're forgetting, Toure and Kompany should've also been off and Balotelli was diving around like a **** towards the end aswell, never pulled up on it.

We've had our fair share of bent ref's this season, he got a few dodgy decisions wrong but you're going way over the top. We beat the leaders and the unbeaten and we deserved to.

Drogs --he seems to have avoided mentioning the fact that City committed 20 fouls last night, the 2nd highest in the Prem this season, and some that merited more yellow cards than they actually recieved. He also failed to mention the yellow card that never was for Romeu! All in all the press seem to agree , that over 90 minutes we were deserved winners and that the refs shortcomings were evenly shared!

    blue <applause>

We are the only team to beat them so far this season, we won't be the last but it's a bloody good achievement. Well done AVB, I hope some of the people calling for his head are now back on side.

    evening drogs,

just wondering is drogbas return to form and anelka getting a huge money deal that may also be offered to drogba just a huge coincidence - didn't see the game but heard most say that chelsea played better than they have played all season and deserved the win - did see a clip of mancini trying to explain something to balotelli at the touchline. it was so funny . mancini was talking but you could see by the expression on balotellis face that he was either not listening or hadn't a clue what he was saying

Some people talk utter bollocks with the what ifs.
I imagine most chelsea fans were shifting uneasily in their seats or watching through their hands for the first 20 mins after that AVB got his tactics spot on,we didn't respond and were well beaten in the end.
Should be a really good prem this year with 5 in with a realistic sniff for the first time in years
Need to respond to that now and stuff Arsenal on Sunday, now they are a bunch of whinging ****s...

evening pal, could be right, maybe Drogs is trying to prove his salt to another club but to be honest I'm glad and rather he'd do that than play terrible.

    Well said <applause>

wonder what it will mean for torres - when he cant get on the pitch for a game like this there is little hope for him - sturridge doing well isn't helping him either

Sturridge is our right sided player and will be for a while. That probably won't affect Torres.
