There's been a bit of drizzle around this morning, not enough to change the going but a bit of juice nevertheless.I think Native River will run a big race and I'm on at 14/1 e.w but I agree that it probably isn't ideal.

A few of our picks are similar today and some of the lesser bets you mention are also on my radar so here's hoping we all have a good day.

Sky are running scared of Rachel Blackmore. (Or maybe me, but I somehow doubt it.) Cannot get a 5 timer on her rides. Hey ho, try a cheeky 50p ew combi 4 timers. Max stake 0.06p. Tried Bet365, "fivefolds cannot be placed on these selections", same with 4 folds. Awwww bless Denise, scared Rachel gonna dent ya 200and however many more noughts pay packet this year? Do I expect them all to win? No. But somebody doe. Prices on some of her runners have halved since last night.

    1320 Quilixios

1505 Frodon ew Front running tactics to the fore and hope a bit left in the tank for up the hill and the closing pack. (My other over the cliff again horse, Vintage Clouds has paid for this week. The stake for which came from Frodons King George)

Denise Coates is the CEO of Bet365, an internet betting company. Her reported salary in 2019 was £323million. The collateral for the startup of 365 was the chain of bookmakers her father owned. Your friendly neighbourhood bookie.

Ah, yes, the good old days. The smoke filled bookies, tab ends and discarded betting slips littering the floor. A squawky tannoy in the corner being translated into something readable by the board marker, a callow youth covered not only in acne, but chalk dust.

If you struggled with five folds etc I won't go into the upside of internet betting, the exchanges. Whereby you too can play bookie, or the matched betting opportunities.

Another nice touch in running. I'm packing it in for today, I need to give the bookiers a chance.

Not a good day for me yesterday.
I backed Petit Monsieur at each way 28/1 that came second.
Stupidly, I forgot to tick the each way box.
    Doh.
    Finished the week up £185

I had lots of second placed which would easily have put me £1000 plus up if they won. But, that's why I backed each way so still profitable

I back a lot of horses E.W and it basically kept me in the hunt for the week.I managed to nail Colreevy in the 2nd last at 7/2 (good win bet) and Langer Dan(who was probably my biggest fancy at the festival) finishing 2nd (I had it at 8's E.W) pulled me a few quid back.
