    After the first week of indoor riding to get some fitness I gave it a push tonight. Surprised how bad it felt

    Is it harder when you are cycling in the sea?

    My Fitbit does this when I am out running. It looks like I am taking shortcuts through everybody's gardens and then the distance is lower than actual. If I walk its fine. I like to think its because the GPS signal can't keep up with me as I am moving so fast.

    Another miserable evening on the Turbo trainer.

    looking at bikes and the garage door while I pedal. Climbing tonight and have a sore knee now.

    I'm almost 80 miles into my January challenge.

    As you can see, it's ****in hard graft out in those conditions.

    Got 10 days left before I can surf again too. Absolutely champing at the bit for that
