Signed up to a gym in Liverpool, going to start next week so I can pick up my training again. Not trying to get competition fit, so wont be careful about what I eat.
M&S is over the road from Sainsburys... PS bought some Hog Roast Doughnuts from there yesterday ... reduced... so in the freezer - will be having them today as part of my calorie uncontrolled diet... My body is a Temple ... unfortunately, mainly resembles the Taj Mahal ...
Couldn’t be arsed with the gym last couple of days but going today. Banged out 47k steps over the weekend at least and another 10k this morning.
Sounds safe. Averaged 20000 steps in the last seven days and getting through my workouts without throwing up and upping the weight each time so we’re moving.
Hit my target of 500k steps in May today. Weight loss is a bit slower than I’d have liked but knocked off 6kg in a month and managed sets of 42.5s on the dumbbell press so not terrible.
Back to the family tonight. Unbelievably, practically empty by six o clock, but the downside is it's not exactly packed full of the best equipment. Works out a £2.25 a visit if I go twice a week so will definitely do. Did some compounds, then half an hour on the treadmill. Small steps. Lost a lot of strength.
If I’ve got a clean run in the gym, I train one body part using 5 exercises. 3 sets of 10 reps with a break of 30-60 seconds between each one. I’m done in 25-30 minutes. Then I spend 10-15 minutes on the bag and I’m outta there.
Back in the gym in the morning... Been unable to because of work but going to tear myself up again over the next 6 to 12 months.
Go on Roy. I’ve been talked into doing a Tough Mudder in September which will be ****. Never even jogged 10km before.
