It's only your take on things Comm, I'd be worried if it was someone who actually knows anything about English football saying that.
You might get promoted but you didn't even finish first Bet you'll be lapping that up for a season by boring the board about when you had Beethoven playing on the wings back when you were big time You go to bed aswell mate...Diego is off in about 20 mins too.
You watch ****ty Sunderland...that doesn't qualify you to know fk all about any team in the Premier League mate The ref is on the pitch...i bet you reckon you see more than him whilst sat in the pub Come on Comm this is too easy...even a junkie like me can baffle you with simple logic
That could be the case. It may have been during this period that he came up with the initial version of his Gravity Law - what goes down carries on going down.
Roy Keane trouncing everything in his path in the Sky Sports poll of best captain ever in the PL Era. Slippy Stevie Me a distant second followed by John Terry and Vincent Kompany. 16 PL trophies between them, none for Gerrard.
Pep takes the League Cup very seriously. Back in the days of Fergie and Wenger they used to use that competition to blood their youngsters and play fringe players. If you wanna say which club have had the best ever domestic season then there’s no argument, it’s City. If you want to say which club have had the best season, again, no argument it’s United in 1999 and it’s backed up with trophies, not silly little charts.
To be fair to Mourinho, he always target the league cup for the same reasons. It's a decent competition, blood youngsters and squad players and, when it comes to the semi's etc., play senior players and try to win the thing. Winning, generally = more winning. The exception to that was when we recently won the league cup and Europa league of course but generally it should be a good comp to win. The FA cup just gets in the way of the nitty gritty at the business end of the season. Takes up too many weekends and creates fixture congestion, the league cup doesn't.

This, it's about winning trophies. Great teams compete and succeed in multiple competitions at the same time. This City team and United '99 are unquestionably the two best PL teams. Obviously United edge it as that team won in Europe as well as at home.
The team in 6th and 7th won the CL & PL both times but don’t let that get in the way of lots of passing.
