His sister played in my daughters team! She's just got a football scholarship in the states! His dad played for York! (Stuart)
It's just football. He's a footballer. He can score goals. He was a bit of a ****, but so is every footballer who comes to the KC according to the fans I sit around. If you hold a grudge because you can't take a bit of ribbing then it says more about you than it does about him.
Because we should forever more base all our contract lengths, especially renewing contracts, on one poor deal.
What was grumpy about that response? Huddlestone has come out talking about how our process for renewing contracts is quite strange - in line with what I said a few weeks back in fact, that letting players get into the last 12 months of their deal is poor management - and other players have also commented on the fact that they haven't been offered new deals. Yes Bullard was a costly failure. Yes signing an old player to a long term deal is a dangerous move. But guys like Chester, Brady, Elmo, and other younger long-term players have all gotten into the last 12 months of their deals with no apparent moves to sign them to longer term deals before that happened.
Apparently we where watching Sam Johnstone Man Us under 21 keeper at the Man U vs Everton under 21 game the other night. Walshy was there.....
BBC Humberside Sport @HumbersideSport #hcafc boss Steve Bruce has dismissed speculation linking them with Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone who had a loan at #Scunthorpe
