Excellent post. Either Moses is ****ed and we aren't offering him owt. Or we have offered him a reduced or pay as you play contract. Which after two years out I think is reasonable. He definitely owes this club a bit of loyalty.
I applaud you for mentioning this weeks ago similarly well done for not registering a new account to broadcast. It's somewhat an obsession of yours this new account issue. Maybe after years of reading the board coupled with the job they had people decide to simply join in the chat years down the line. Nothing sinister about that is there?
There is no loyalty in football from either side. We weren't loyal by Moses, he had a contract and we had to pay him.
If we've offered Moses a deal, I'd be surprised if he didn't take it, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if we haven't offered him one (presumably we'll find out today).
How they do it is irrelevant. I've got a 24 month phone contract that I have to pay, I'm not loyal to EE for paying it.
It is chazz , we would have ****ed him off ages ago if we could , but we couldn't so we wasn't showing him loyalty just obiding by the law . I do agree it would be nice if he showed a bit of gratitude back if he was offered a sensible deal , but for all we know he might have been offered next to nothing
I aren't actually that arsed he's going , 2 years is one hell of a lay off . Be surprised if he comes back anywhere near what he was.
If you can explain how paying someone a sum of money we have legal obligation to do so is loyalty I'd be happy to hear it. Paying him whilst injured without him having a signed contract would be loyalty, but it would also be madness which is why it never happens.
If Dave comes back as half the player he was last time, he'll still be a decent Champo player and certainly better than Aina was this last season
