The issue we have as a club is the players cannot abide the owners, however players can be fickle and overlook the relationship between the owners and themselves personally if the financial agreement is lucrative enough. City have both obstacles to negate poisonous owners and chuff all financial incentive. I do not blame any player wanting out
I’ve heard a rumour Ehab is revolutionising the transfer market after doing the same with season tickets. Instead of player contracts that last for 1,2,3 years etc. our players will be offered Hull City Tigers memberships. They have a rolling month to month contract. Players have to give 2 full months notice if they want to leave. At the end of each season Ehab ****s around for a few months working out what their new month to month contract will be for the following season, resulting in everyone ****ing off.
Has any one seen today's Tweet from Diomamde; Re: His #LAFC attachment. I wasn't able to post it here.
Young defender Lewis Ritson has committed his future to the Club by signing a new one-year deal this afternoon. The 19-year-old centre-back, who penned his first professional deal with the Tigers last summer after joining the Academy at the age of 16, is now contracted until the summer of 2019. Speaking after putting pen-to-paper, Ritson said: "I'm buzzing to get the deal signed. It's a nice reward at the end of the season and it's a nice reward for all of the hard work I've put in since coming here at the age of 16. "It's been a somewhat frustrating campaign on a personal level. I've had to be patient and wait for my opportunities with the Under-23s but I got my chance at the back end of the season and I think I finished the campaign strongly, which was pleasing. "I've also had the benefit of training with the first-team at Cottingham on a number of occasions this season, which has been great. To have the opportunity to learn from experienced first-team professionals was fantastic for me and the advice and guidance they gave me during those sessions was hugely beneficial. "The aim now is to just kick on. I want to develop and improve in all areas of my game in order to become a better footballer."
I never said ehab. I said it happens in football all the time both ways. Some clubs are ****s Some players are ****s. Some players show immense loyalty to a club and decline offers to go elsewhere. some clubs show immense loyalty to players and treat the well. It's not long ago Steve Bruce got a contract for Andy Dawson when he clearly didn't warrant one. As Bruce knew the value of looking after a good club servant.
The Tigers are delighted to announce that Adam Curry has signed a new contract with the Club. The 20-year-old, who first arrived at the KCOM Stadium from South Shields in November 2015, has signed a one-year deal which will keep him at the Club until the summer of 2019. Although yet to make his senior debut in a black and amber shirt, the centre-back was part of Nigel Adkins' squad that travelled to Kenya last week, playing the full 90 minutes in the goalless draw with Gor Mahia in front of 60,000 fans at the Kasarani Stadium. Upon penning his new deal, Curry was quick to reveal his delight at extending his stay with the Tigers and said: "It's been a bit of a whirlwind year for me. I've had highs and lows, and I always think it's good to remember the lows because you can use them to spur you on. "Signing this deal is definitely a high point for me though. Last summer it could have gone either way for me having been injured, but the Club was very good with me and put a lot of faith in me. They gave me the time to get myself right, which is something I'm very grateful for. "And after my time out due to injury, it's been a really positive season for me this year. Just to be playing regular football has been a massive positive for me, so to be rewarded with this new deal tops it all off. I'm just glad it has all worked out. "It isn't the end of the hard work for me though. I know I need to continue with my development and continue to improve as I look to push on and wherever I find myself next season - whether it be with the Under-23s or with the first-team - I will continue to work as hard as I possibly can."
So the club was very good with him when he was injured... They should have sacked the ****, wasting my ****ing money. Arf
