Seeing our good friend @Clb74 at Millwall last Saturday was a very upsetting sight.

In driving rain and freezing temperatures, the poor man stood in that muddy dark alley outside the Den in a pair of sodden Bermuda shorts

CLB is too proud a chap to ask for help, but @Beware of the Virus informs me via DM that he may have fallen on hard times, having been scammed by a Nigerian internet Fraudster who was pretending to be CLB’s new Thai bride.

Can I therefore appeal to all 606 members to donate at least £2, so that we may buy him these for Christmas, and save those awful legs from needing another coat of Ronseal.

 

I have noticed that he has started to bring cans into a pub, it explains why he goes into the toilets a lot. He is not like me in having a (very)weak bladder.

 

@Clb74 popularity on this forum is already being demonstrated - I have received DM’s pledging £4.56 towards his new trousers already.

 

I'll weigh in with the breakfast bet I owe him for the away followings this season.

On line donations to date have been a shade disappointing, with less than £5 pledged

Conscious that @Clb74 and I have a cold trip to Middlesborough coming up, the ever considerate @Beware of the Virus has pilfered a pair of Levi jeans for CLB from the 50p bargain bin. One slight problem - he tells me in a DM they are a size 38 waist ?

 

@Clb74 and me will be having a few shandys tomorrow night.

I'll give him the £7.62 accumulated then.

 

I like @Clb74, he's a good lad(with shocking pins) but he upset Mrs Elfs a lot last night.

Mr No Trousers and me were in the Bromley South Wspoons(now advertising they are not serving bananas in the future) last night with a couple of chums. My good lady said she wanted to go to the Bricklayers as it is quieter and she said it would be lovely to see Mr No Trousers. It was agreed they would follow up after they finished the drinks they were on. He never showed.

Mrs Elfs went home very sad and let down, leaving me very angry that my wonderful wife was upset.

Me and elfs were having a drink up in the bricklayers arms at 6pm.
We invited a few others not knowing if theyd turn up.
On Friday elfs says the drinks is off. We then said me and him would meet in spoons.
Elfs gets a message to say thats a shame i was going to pop along.
Me elfs and someone else pops along , about 6.30 elfs gets a message
Im at the bricklayers where are you ,elfs were down spoons.
Fella gets down there and within 20 minutes elfs is telling me the wifes going up the bricklayers for 8.
Its 7.30pm and elfs is telling me his shooting off to the bricklayers and the other fella only been there 20 mins.
I said to elfs i might pop down the bricklayers, but with the fella only just getting there and half way through his pint and him just coming from the arms felt a bit rude to go.
If i did upset Mrs Borg my apologies, i should think also Mrs Borg knows what a muppet Mr Borg is by now.
