Close to a re- start, no closer to a striker

Can't understand why we're poncing about with so many players except the one we really need, a world class striker.
We are linked with everyone under the sun, for every position on the pitch, except a striker.
Abraham, already 22, doesn't look like the answer to me, though he certainly deserves another year as our best bet.
The 19 year old Haarland is already far better than Tammy and a much more natural goalscorer.
I'd forget Sancho, he won't be coming to us if he's well advised, and Chilwell is looking doubtful ( and not sure he's not another John Stones). Kai Havertz , exactly the type of player we need, won't be our player either, so why not more effort for a striker??
Ethan Ampadu needs to be integrated into the first team ASAP, he's as good as anyone his age anywhere, far better than Tomori, as good as Reece James, and will add plenty to our emerging squad. Lots to be happy with, but boy we really need a killer striker.
