I don't see how another Hillsborough could occur, honestly.
Maybe I'm just being naive, but the improved controls on crowd numbers and removal of fencing would seem to have solved the problem.
If lots of people were pushing forward now, then they'd end up on the pitch. That's it's own issue, of course, but it's a dramatic improvement.

Crush injuries on a mass scale due to confinement to /
bottlenecks in the terrace areas of a ground ??

Not in the PL grounds I see on TV.

I think that you could get some injuries, especially at some of the older grounds, but nothing on the scale of Hillsborough.
Upper tiers could be an issue, I guess. Hadn't really considered that. Who stands on them, though?

To be fair, as he's at an NFL game he might be looking to end the boredom the old fashioned way...

You are probably right, I'd guess a sponsorship announcement is not far away.

Joe's yacht is allegedly somewhat larger, more futuristic and more plush then your video, apart from that......

FootballDotLondon are reporting that our first team players who aren't on World Cup duty will begin pre-season training next Monday, while our Development and Academy players returned yesterday

In other news, the club have announced a revamped website - sadly missing a golden opportunity to announce a new signing

If he's good, I'm sure that he'll be back. Pleased to see him working his way and learning, rather than expecting to go straight into managing a club too soon. I don't see the need to do so, given the wealth of players retiring these days.

Our revamped website's gone well so far: for a few hours anyone using spurs.co.uk saw a 404 page, and during the evening the site got rolled back to the previous version with the revamp as an optional beta. Thankfully it seems to have reconfigured now, although there's going to be another massive update a couple of weeks from now with the new kit launch and the updated squad photos to see if the gremlins have been expunged.

    Gremlins in our squad photos?
We haven't gone and signed a couple of chavs or goons while everyone was watching the WC have we?

  18. Gremlins I would accept, but not a descent to the latter!! We've got to have some standards! <laugh>
