To wind people up in the close season? Genuinely though, it's a number that he's worn at every other club: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cristian-romero/rueckennummern/spieler/355915 No idea why, but I'm sure someone will tell us soon.
Potential suggestions - He broke through in Belgrano's team in the 2016-17 season - His first Argentine youth cap was in 2017 - His hometown of Cordoba was founded in the 17th century - His record for fastest-ever goal for Argentina has the 17th footnote on his Wikipedia page - That's how many bodies he has buried under his garage
This might be one of the worst away kits in a long time, as bad as last years mess. Who on earth is designing these?!
I mean is the fluorescent yellow there just to make sure we’re visible if the lights go out? Whoever Spurs/ Nike are hiring in this creative department need sacking, last year’s was bad enough, this one’s even worse.
On the subject of Nike kits, I knew I'd seen Eintracht Frankfurt's warmup kit somewhere before... please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
At least last years “galaxy” shirt was genuinely different and took a bold approach. This kit…“daring to do bold?” Behave. It’s utter ****. someone in the process is wumming us with these Nike kits. This is one of the worst ever. - I would love to be a fly on the wall in the decision making of this stuff. How did this get through? Other than that, I like it.
Not the same colour scheme, but I've seen the same design on this season's... Barca goalkeeper Barca training PSG training Likely we'll see it on a few more when more kits are unveiled
whilst templates are a lazy cop out, I can deal with that if the right colours are used. this kit has no connection, no soul, no thought. whilst I felt too old to buy the galaxy kit and thought it was more for the youngsters, I can see why people really liked it. The design in itself was a crazy mess, but it kind of worked in terms of its colour palette and provided something different. it’s been said countless times, but this is literally a wet suit.
I was a massive fan of the turquoise one with the top button from 2019. I know the kit was cursed, but that’s the nicest one (and one of the only nice ones) Nike have done for us, IMO.
No, that'll be our away kit It happened in I think the first season Nike made our kits, where our away kit was Barca's training kit
Well, credit to the photography, which does all it can to make the kit invisible. It's long since time for Nike and everybody else to let the fans design the kits, with a voting contest to pick the winners. Every club has lots of designer fans, a fair portion of whom are perfectly willing to spend hours of time brain storming (or brain drizzling, in my case) their babies. I ought to know, as I'm one of them. Designer fans, that is, not necessarily one willing to spend hours on a design which almost certainly wouldn't be picked. In any case, the result will be better than a small squad of overworked designers mostly just stamping things out of a few templates. The contest and the vote will build up interest, engagement, and sales. I can't remember who has a fan designed kit this year, but I remember thinking it was better than almost any other kit I've seen.
HBIC I see you recently in a new light. Your knowledge of naval camouflage schemes I would suggest is unsurpassed on this board. Was it also you recently displaying your knowledge of modern handguns?
